The Committee considered the report of the Executive Director of Planning and Environment proposing the designation of two sites in the Borough as a licence street' for street trading under the provisions of the London Local Authorities Act 1990 (as amended) and, if the designation were agreed, to consider the granting of a street trading licence at that site.
The Committee also considered the report of the Executive Director of Planning and Environment detailing applications received to vary three existing street trading licences.
Having considered appendices A-E, and heard representations from the applicants in respect of appendices B and C, and a representation from the Market Inspector & Street Trading Enforcement Officer in respect of appendix D, the Licensing Committee RESOLVED:
a) that consideration of the application in respect of the footway outside 16a & 16b High Street, Thornton Heath, CR7 8BF be postponed until the meeting of the Licensing Committee on 13 June 13 2012 on the basis that, owing to bereavement, the applicant was unable to attend.
b) that the site on the footway outside 29 Church Street, Croydon, CR0 1RH, be designated for the purposes of street trading, as set out in Appendix B, and that a street trading licence be granted on the Council's standard conditions.
c) that the application for a variation to the existing street trading licence in respect of the site on the footway outside 1410-1412 London Road, Norbury, SW16 4BZ, as set out in appendix C, be granted.
d) that the application for a variation to the existing street trading licence in respect of the site on the footway outside 77 High Street, Thornton Heath, CR7 9RY, as set out in appendix D, be granted.
e) that the application for a variation to the existing street trading licence in respect of the site on the footway outside 16 Crown Point Parade, Beulah Hill, SE19 3NG, as set out in appendix E, be granted.
