Brief History: The Coulsdon and District Day Nursery Fund, in the former Urban District of Coulsdon and Purley; it is regulated by a scheme of the charity commissioners of the 10th April 1953 and the Charities Act 1960.
Aim of the Organisation: The aim of the Coulsdon and District Day Nursery is to provide equipment for children up to the age of 16 that would not be provided by any other organisation in the former Urban District of Coulsdon and Purley.
Additional Information: The charity provides extra comforts and equipment for nursery schools and Playground groups in the area of benefits which are provided or managed by the local education authority or by voluntary groups or organisations to supplement those provided by the local education authority. In otherwise promoting the education or the improvement of the health or the conditions of life, of children and young people of not more than 16 years of age resident in the area of benefit in such ways as the Trustees from time to time think fit.
